website that tells you what's on in your area?

I posted this on the local board but got no response so will see if I get any luck here.

A little while back I'm sure I found mention somewhere on MSE boards of a website where you can type in your postcode or borough & you could find out what's on in your locality. Things like community groups etc amonst other things.

Does anybody have any idea of the website address? It wasn't upmystreet by the way.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

    im not sure of the website that your on about but i know that the website of netmums has the what's on in your area facility. might be worth a look :)
