Since my post in March about 6 weeks ago we received a letter from Lovell saying that they still do not admit an error or liability but as a gesture of goodwill will write of the balance concerned and that the matter is closed. I think they gave up trying to get my partner to pay, it may have only been for approx £40 but if they did this to 100+ people those £40's soon add up and it is easy to think that maybe you do owe the money and just pay up which so many people seem to do, but my advice is if you're not sure don't pay it, we kept asking for evidence to prove it that they obviously couldn't provide and believe that is why they've done this as we weren't going to give in!0
