Problem with a dress shirt!

Hi,
I have recently started to spray starch my shirts.
Being a novice i had usually only done the collar but i decided to do a whole shirt one day.
However i think i sprayed too much on and the shirt was like cardboard!!
I then washed it to see if it would wash out starch but unfortunately my wife didnt realise it was in there and threw it into the dryer with a few other things and it has shrunk as well as being still a bit stiff.
Is there any way of remedying this?

Well, great minds think alike, i was going to suggest that but thought better of it.:D
Yes, i think washing it will solve half the problem at least.
Lite bulb moment - move the buttons :rotfl::rotfl:make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

just checked the shirt and it is 97% cotton 3% elastane and its made by "Guide of London" if thats is familar with anyone.
it seems to be a bit stretchy like elastic, which i guess is elastane.
i have another one exactly the same but a different colour and it isnt stretchy and i dont think the white one was stretchy before spraying it with starch.
will washing it and pinning it help to stretch it?0
