I am looking for a gargen shed ( 6 x 4 ) and would like to know which is best wooden or plastic
I am leaning towards plastic as it would be so much easier to put together and up keep
The use will be to house 3 stray cats ( I have a dog ) so cant have them in the house
So what do you think?

You need to be careful as a lot of the plastic shed kits dont include floor panels. The wooden sheds obviously come as a complete unit. Also read that plastic is more prone to damp.
Personally I'm looking at the Keter range of plastic sheds as they seem to be the best quality (costco have them in at the moment).0

I may be wrong, but I would imagine a plastic shed could get rather hot in the summer, unless it has vents in it? Then again, we had mice in our shed and lost part of the floor to them so there's good and bad to each of them! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

My next door neighbour had a small, plastic shed (reminded me of a Little Tykes playhouse!) It was very windy one night and in the morning it was in bits all over the garden. After that they bolted the panels together, and bolted the bottom to the cement underneath it, and it's never moved since.0

The ones I have looked at do have floors, plus it has bolts etc
It would be put against a fence and a wall so hope wind would not be an issue.
It has vent in it, so air flow damp etc ok?
Would open the door on nice days and install cat flap for nasty wet days, really think a plastic one would be best,
Anymore opinions please?Sometimes I wake up grumpy, other times I let him sleep !:rotfl:0

I have to say that I would imagine a shed as a home for cats would be an invitation for vermin, so probably best going for the plastic one as I very much doubt if they can gnaw through that quite the way they did our wooden one! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
