Im applying for a mortgage but have not registered myself on electoral poll since moving about 10 years ago How will this effect my credit rating and why. Have i been automatically taken of the electoral poll im from england and buying the flat in england will i be always refused untill i register

You have not voted in an election for the last 10 years if ever !
Do you pay council tax ?
Have you got credit cards and pay them off each month ?
Do you now or in the past few years have you had a loan to buy a car/new kitchen and pay the loan each month ?
Have you got a mobile phone / direct debit for the Gas/elec/water/home phone/broadband .
All of these things show you have a credit rating and pay your bills each month.
Current account with the bank and the size of your deposit plus your income also have a big effect on your chance of getting the mortgage GOOD LUCK0
