Kind of won, but need help!

Dear all,

I have been comping through this forum for a good while now (thanks to all who post the competitions!), and thought I'd give that McCoys instant win thing a go. Basically, I went out, bought a few packets of McCoys, wrote down the codes and my other half chucked the empty bags that I scoffed in the bin! Since then, I won something (it doesn't say what but I should receive an email soon), but of course I now don't have the packet! :mad:Arrrgh! Needless to say I am quite gutted. So, please, if anyone has a McCoys bag that has the code 0183 at the end (I can't remember which flavour it was or where I got it, although it is somewhere down in West Sussex), I would be so grateful if you could send me the empty packet. If you can help, please send me a message. I will of course reimburse the cost of postage and crisps, and enough money for a couple of beers on me

Thanks for your time!

I can't remember where I got the crisps, I bought several packets over a few days, and I travel quite a lot due to my line of work. I'm going to be doing a tour of the local area looking at barcodes tomorrow (bet the shopkeepers will love that!), so hopefully I will come across them somewhere! Just thought I'd put a message out there in case anyone has one lying about in case I get stuck.

I actually heard about this one through a friend who works in my local Somerfield...but as far as the other competitions go I usually find them through here and a couple of other sites.

Thanks, I shall have a look and ask. Just wish I'd paid more attention to the terms and conditions before taking the plunge! D'oh!

i dont think it makes a difference where you buy them i think the barcode is generic for each flavour for example all one flavour end 8115
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I have been, got some very funny looks from the neighbours. My other half works nights, but I'm going to be quizzing her quite hard about where she might have put them when she gets home from work!

That's what I thought. I nipped down my local tesco earlier on a search and my flame-grilled steak flavour had 8115. They didn't have all the flavours there (only the salt and vinegar, flamegrilled, cheese and onion and king prawn), but it wasn't on any of them. Are you from West Sussex? If not, that gives me some hope that the barcodes aren't regional!
