EuroDisney.....help required.

Never been before, but kids are pestering us bigtime.

Have absolutely NO idea what it would cost - only thing we know is that we would not be driving there.

Any pointers n the right direction; ideas of best time to go; when its cheapest etc etc.

Thanks

We went at the end of September last year and had a fabulous time. The weather was still nice and because children were at school it was nice and quiet. I rang up several travel agents I found on line and in the end booked it with one based in Leeds (can't remember the name of it) and it worked really well - and a lot cheaper. My sister came back on the day that we went - she booked on the High Street with less children. We went for longer with an extra child encorporating a weekend and got it a lot cheaper than she did. We went on the Eurostar.

There are a number of different hotels on site to choose from depending on budget. I am sure there is a cheaper way of doing it but this was for me the easiest.

    Good luck.

Do you have any Tesco clubcard deals? Cresta travel accept them. We are going in May for free! Hotels vary. Cheapest on-site is the Cheyenne (basic 2 star). We have stayed in the Seqouia Logde, but if you have more than 2 children its deaper to go just outside to Davy Crockett Ranch (self catering) or the Explorers (where we are going), otherwise in the other hotels you have to pay for 2 rooms

Having just been in Febuary I'd suggest not bothering and going to one of the UK based theme parks! I'm not knocking Euro Disney, for kids its fantastic, especially the parades, but the costs are very high, the level of service is good and the hotel staff are really helpful and friendly but I'd put the rooms on a par with a basic travel lodge and over 3 times the cost (where we stayed). I also found the incessant merchandising is wearisome, almost every ride has a shop attached (on the way out) I know this is just how theme parks work but I personally feel that Disney has gone over the top.

I haven't been before but missus has got Legoland tickets through clubcard points and I've been told that its easily as good maybe better by firends who have been to both.
