Borrowing 2k

Hi all

Im looking to borrow 2k towards a new motor, and was just wondering if anyone had any pointers as to the most finacially effective way of doing so

loan, credit card, etc

and also, if its one of those, wheres best to start looking for a deal

If I where you, I would take a consume credit. I think a credit of this type matches your budget. Take a few hours and visit all the banks near your place. I am sure they have this type of credit. Ask some credit officers there, they are in the business, they will tell you the best borrowing way. My advice: don't borrow through cc, they have high rates.

I would say try your own bank for a loan. It may work out more cost effective to borrow more so as to take advantage of lower interest rates.

i checked hsbc online and it was 21.9%

with regards my credit files, im 21, havnt ever had an overdraft or borrowed money etc, so as far as i can guess, my credit history will just be empty/neutral etc!
