Hi Everyone
I have been saving up for a home cinema system and about to purchase it.
Here is a list of the items
Onkyo SR507 A/V Reciever £349.95
Onkyo SKSHT518 Black 5.1 Speakers £169.95
Sony LCD Tv KDL 46W5500 LCD £1199.95
Icon Modus Stand £139.95
Total = £1859
These have all been priced from Richer Sounds
I am going to purchase all the items from Richer Sounds so i can get a good discount. What sort discount is do you think i should ask for ?
I have never haggled before so if anyone gots some good tips that would be good.
Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Darren
Not a tip on getting a discount, but I would recommend spending more on your speakers at less on your TV.
I bought my first surround sound system from Richer Sounds on Sunday and bought the Onkyo 607 with Kef egg speakers. This came to £1000 (I didn't try to haggle).
I did some research on the excellent AV Forums and the general advice seemed to be that the split in cost between the receiver and speakers should be about 60/40 in favour of the speakers, but as Richer Sound had the Kef's in silver with £150 off (making them £499) I went for them. If the speakers you get are not as good as the receiver, you aren't likely to hear the full benefit.
Also, don't forget to factor in HDMI cables, speaker cables and Sub Woofer cable.
Hope this helps
