GPRS is secure.

The network providers have very good firewalls to stop hackers.

The firewalls also protect the telco's own network from hackers, so you can be quite confident about it's security.

The beauty is though with reporo (the web page part) its an SSL encrypted page, which you enter your credit card number and expiry, and set up a username, password and PIN. When you dial up to buy an item, you just put in your 3 digit code from the back of your card and your PIN, so anyone would get meaningless numbers. Also they know who you are by the mobile number you connect from, or some code in the software, and the PIN confirms it is you as well. Quite clever and safe.

ipod video offer seems very good - let me know if anyone gets this - must be subsidised since its more expensive on the actual Think4 website.

I ordered one last (Monday) night - so will update if/when I get it - and how much I paid!!!
It looks like a too good to be true to be honest - but you never know!

For the semi-techies - I got the software sent to my 02 XDa2s (pocket pda phone). Then, as my pda has wireless networking, I linked via wireless to the website - so no need for GPRS - even better!

Could just as easily just get someone else to get it for me, that was my general thinking. Only been told by the mrs that she doesn't want a white one!
