Can I get a mortgage to finance a property abroad?

I need to raise £90K to pay for an apartment in Morocco.
I own my fathers house outright and there is no outstanding mortgage on that. It is valued at £180K.
Is my best option to secure a mortgage against that, or is there an alternative better solution?

If you own your father's house... then it is your house!
Best and quickest option for you is to raise the mortgage against your unencumbered property.
