We have had a car for 3 years, of a four year contract, we have been told we cannot hand back the car , we have to find the balance 11k ourselves,
the dealers have gone, we are told we have a loan through a finance company from capital bank although most of the contract we never got.
any help or info appreciated.

We need to know more about your agreement before we can point you in the right direction?

What does it say at the top of the agreement?
Is this Hire Purchase? or a loan?
Is the agreement regulated or not?
What was the amount of advance financed?

What part of the agreement do you think is missing?

Have you asked the Finance company to send you a copy of the agreement?

Sounds like you have an Unregulated Lease Purchase agreement by the sounds of it.
Try and clarify the previous posters questions and it may be easier to assist.

On the top it says fixed sum loan agreement regulated.
it says the last payment is £ 8,051.25.
but no mention of how to pay this or if i can hand back the car,
what can they do if i dont have the money ?

You will be best speaking to the cccs or the cab, thats serious money and you need to get the agreement fully checked.
