Hi Guys
Looking for some advice
Received letter from Trustee last week stating
"I can confirm that adminstration of this sequestration is complete and I have commenced the procedure for my formal discharge as Permanent Trustee"
I am correct in saying that we will have no more contact from the Trustee now. We where discharge in Oct 08
TIA

I'm not too familiar with the current Scottish system, but a very similar thing happens in England.
When the trustee has finished investigating your case and the major admin, they continue to act as trustee in an "ex-officio" capacity. In other words, their main duties are done, but they are still there if needed.
That means that they still deal with anything like Income Payment Agreements if in place, and if any issue regarding you bankruptcy/sequestration now pops up.
But as said their main investigation is done and dusted, so it is a good thing.
