Morning all, interesting chat last night....
I would like to see if all these politicians put the expenses they 'reclaim' on their self assessments.
According to the Inland Revenue 'Ignorance is not a defence' and expenses can only be claimed if they have actually been incurred in the first place. They may not have broken their own rules but what about the rules of the land.
Anyhow onto lighter things....Angels & Demons. Got to the cinema quite late (cos everyone had the same idea and parking was a nightmare) so had to sit two rows from the front... It was a good film visually (loads of good shots of Rome and stuff) nice shot of Tom Hanks in swimming trunks and Euan McGregor to lust over, but there was too much for me to take in so I found it hard to keep up:rotfl:.
Got a 10k race at 11 and I woke up wondering why I put myself through this....
Then studying for the rest of the day.....

I just sent the kids upstairs to get DH nintendo DS (said it was in the drawer beside our bed) and they came down saying they found 'sweeties'...
Anyway, the sweeties they found are a pair of g-string pants made from sweets! LOL! NEVER BEEN WORN I hasten to add, still in the packaging! So they are now happily chomping away on a pair of pants!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

morning everyone. I'm going to have to buy Amber yet another pair of shoes today. it's a pair every 3 weeks at the moment. The trouble is she won't wear them if they are a bit scuffed or if the inside has worn a bit, that's autism for you, she just says they are broken. I've tried polishing them and using a black marker pen to cover the scuffed leather but no good. Oh well, I suppose this is why she gets DLA, to keep clarks in business:A

She's an adult size 4I've just been freecycling them up to now, ebay um don't like me, I got expelled a couple of years ago. I sold some of our sound equipment and for some reason they thought i was selling stolen stuff I think, despite sending them receipts etc they never did let me back on again. You are more than welcome to her barely worn ones.
Another problem I have with amber and shoes is that she wants pretty little girl shoes with flashing lights, but they just don't sell them in her size. Today she said she wants leli kelly shoes but they come up a bit small so are no good.:A

Freya has size 12 I think so a way to go for a 4 but it's not like they go out of style or won't grow into them!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

Those Leli Kelly things are stupidly priced, I don't pay that much for my shoes.
Freya is always asking for them...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0
