Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.

If you check the Currys website they have the same offer with free delivery plus 5% discount (DCBYAW) and another 5% if you use your egg card. There's also half price dvd r/w at £9.990

I thought the same once but it is ridiculously easy.

What possible earthly reason is there to shorten a link? You don't NEED to shorten a link via an external site when all you want to do is display the link with a shorter name - which you do like this here.
That's a short link to this site - by typing WITHOUT THE FIRST SPACE after the bracket:
[ url=www.moneysavingexpert.com]here.
Easy peasy.0 -

Sort of.
If you copy and paste the URL, and highlight it, and press the second button from the left in the second row of "Add YABBC tags" will give you (without the space after the first bracket:
[ url]moneysavingexpert.com
You'll then need to remove the first ] and replace it with = and replace the ] after .com and then type your here or whatever before the .
When this awful Yabb software is replaced with Vbulletin, it's FAR easier as it explicitly asks you for the display word (i.e. "here") and then the URL and does it all for you.0 -

That is my "earthly reason" for using the external site!!,
With !!!!!! there is no typing, a simple click on your toolbar, copy and paste. Surely !!!!!! is easier?
I appreciate though that when the new software is up it may well be even easier still.0 -
I don't agree!
To use !!!!!!, you have to open up the !!!!!! site, paste the address, then copy and paste the !!!!!! address into MSE.
Using the yabb method, you have to paste the address, highlight it, press the "URL" button, add an "=" and move a "]".
And more importantly, the link stays within the site rather than diverting the reader off via some other site.
But, thank goodness, the new software will make it still easier0
