Help needed to menu plan

I have just had to reduce my hours at work for health reasons (I have Fibromyalgia), and this is my first month of receiving less money. So, I am determined to meal plan and budget properly - and then stick to it!
We are a family of three (with one very fussy 5yr old) and I want to budget £200 for the month's food. This is from 20th (when I get paid). I have a breadmaker, which is used daily, so lunches are usually sandwiches/salads. I havent worked out how much I will need for milk/yoghurts/flour etc ... probably need to start from there.
I am used to cooking a lot from scratch and we are mostly vegetarian, but I have a few things in my cupboard which need clearing out, and I need suggestions for them.

Tin of duck confit (bought in France 18mths ago!!!)
2 packs of Chestnuts ...
Large bag of frozen sweetcorn
Lots of dried green lentils
Quorn chunks

Also have in fridge/garden:
Celeriac
Courgettes, Chard, Onions, Cabbage

Plus various other assorted ingredients

Many thanks for any suggestions to get me started - I feel like I need help just now
Debt free and saving :j

    Hi,

I have found this thread on menu planning for you done by Penelope Penguin which should give you lots of ideas. There's lots of options to choose from so I'd get a cuppa ready when you sit down & read ;)

If anyone has any suggestions for Duck confit, I'd be grateful as I have a tin in my cupboard that I was given ages ago.

Cassoulet is a hearty meal using confit du canard; try www.francethisway.com for a recipe.
