sooo proud of myself

I just need to share with a community of people who will understand.
I'm having a restless day .... went new car shopping (not brand new but new for me!!) Test drove one negotiated the trade in etc ...... then walked away. :j Calmed down and realised what a really bad idea it was as there is still life in my current car, its just not as shiney and new at the magpie in me would want.
One trick that really helped is each month as I pay more off my credit card I lower the credit limit too so I also did not have the £500 capacity on my card to put down a deposit.
Its so tempting as my debts are slowly being paid off and life is not so critical any more to rack up the credit again. I know with debts I shouldn't save but I am going to start saving for my new car as reducing the limits on my cards is saving my bacon at times.
