poundshop problems

thought it would be interesting to know what you bought from the pounbd shop or market which dion't work but which you din't ask for a refund on "because it was only a pound, what did you expect"

I'll start -

a car vaccuumm cleaner, i thought wow a pound, needless to say it never worked

also some ornaments with led light lights in, the batteries were in wonky and required walloping hard to get them to light up and i gave up and threw them away

My mum bought me some measuring spoons for my cooking but they were too stiff to use.
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

that reminds me of the spoons i bought for cooking, the slotted ones, but theres a gap between the handle and the actual spoon which is in two pieces so the thing keeps coming apart and when glued back together creates a space where water gets in when its washed up so the next time you pick it up you get drenched.

plus the set of knives where the blade is so biarrey placed against the handle that you couldnt actually cut anything with them.

I used to work in a pound shop.

I'm waiting for the people who returned the used umbrella they had for a few months before it blew inside out to post...

I used to work on a market stall and when traders would turn up the market manager would ask them what they were selling and if they said SWAG lines it was ok. Sold Without A Guarantee. :o
