Is it a good time to expand a business?

SRSLY ... might seem a joke at first, but think it through. You don't increase your overheads and you potentially build three more income streams into your business.
Babe, nice thought but I'm already there, were already diversifying into green, novelty and multifaith burials (and we get enough nutters and weirdos as it is:D)0 -

Tbh mate, we haven't done a coach and horses do for a while but otherwise things are much as before. 9 times out of 10 the deceased is paying anyway:j0 -
That is the most inappropriate use of a smiley I have ever seen.FungusFighter wrote: »9 times out of 10 the deceased is paying anyway:j0 -

I would have thought it only worth expanding if it will increase business. Will a display of coffins attract more punters? In terms of larger premises, it could all be about the pre-pay options you offer rather than a display of coffins.
Roughly speaking there is the same number of deaths each year, so how are your competition doing? If you are going to attract more business you will need to take customers off your competitors.
In a recession, people have less money, I would have thought that cremations gain in popularity.

Dont more people die in a recesssion?
Go for it.
Its gonna be a long one. So if your margins are 20% or above you should have it fully covered by the time people start to live longer again....
:rolleyes:Not Again0
