Garden Furniture

I am looking to buy some garden furniture to replace my white plastic set bought 8 years ago in Germany! Although plastic, it was very good quality and the chairs are very comfy. However, they were left out this winter and are now beyond salvation (I have read all the tips on Moneysaving OS including using a 'magic' sponge).

So I have decided to get a new set and want wood this time. However, I have just had a baby and am keen not to spend too much (max £300 for table & 4 chairs, pref at least 2 with arms). I have looked in all the obvious (to me!) places: B&Q, Homebase, Focus ... and all the chairs are so flimsy.

Is there anywhere that does good quality wooden garden furniture without having to spend a fortune?

I'm looking for the same thing. I would like a simple, small wodden table for our small patio!

Hi Vijay - have you thought of looking on ebay ? Try the local bargain finder http://www.localbargainfinder.co.uk/. Perhaps find an ordinary indoor small wooden table that you could treat with yacht varnish ?
