Fund Switching Or New Product ?

I'm finally taking my pension seriously and looking at a fund 'switching' strategy. Has anyone got any tips on how best to approach this ? I have been 'tipped off' about fundrider.com, which a friend 'swears by'. Don't know whether to get proactive with my current fund - only 10k, or look at a new product. I'm 44 and unsure about what to do now.
