Hi
Not sure where this should go so I will put it here and hope for the best.
I have recently had very bad experiances with Phoenix, to the point i believed they may not of been acting completly legitimately so i have today spoke to the Office of Fair Trading who regulate them, and they are now being investigated, I am having to detail the problems i have had, and thought it may be of use if anyone else has had problems with them to either contact the OFT and /or pm me and give me some details and I will include any info when i reply to them on friday
Regards
Shaun
ps. sorry if it is the wrong place or if i shouldn't of mentioned names

hi yes rule of thumb dont take any crapp from dca if they will not accept your offers of payment and pester you outside the realms of the law use oft write to them tell them to cease and contact the original creditor state that the company they are useing are playing outside the law and (they )will be held reasponsible for there actions email the creditor every day stating this and the stress its causing,( 10 times a day ) this will have an affect reguards andrew0

Sorry this is a year late but i only recently discovered this website and I was bank charges obsessed at that time.
I have had loads of problems with Phoenix for slapping on unjustified charges and when I complained to the local authority this morning they advised me that according to Phoenix computer I had only paid £10 since January when in fact I have paid £300. Now I have to find three transcash receipts to prove I have paid. And that was only suggested by the council officer when I said I would formally complain to my MP0 -

I have had a lot of problems with Phoenix and am about to draft a letter of complaint to them, which I am copying to their "official body" and also to the OFT. They have banged on extra charges, lied to me at the door AND even gone so far as to say they have been inside my home, when there is no signed warrant of entry OR any inventory. The council thankfully are looking into this behaviour and I am hopeful that they will take the debt back as Phoenix have refused all reasonable offers. These people should be shut down.0
