Can I cancel Dell orders?

I've recently placed 2x dell orders one via the small business site for a laptop just under 72 hours ago the second for a desktop which arrives today via courier.
Both machines have subsequently dropped in price. I know I could return the desktop order within 7 days as it's a consumer purchase - but can I cancel the small business order and replace it to take advantage of the new discount?
Also if I want to return the desktop will this cost £££ and so isn't worth the while of re'submitting the order.
Thanks for any help.

distance selling regulations....or a quick call to Dell...I heard others say that ringing up to cancel because of Dells weird pricing policy, they were offered incentives to continue with the sale....worth a tryI'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j

I successfully managed to have the difference refunded. I bought a machine at £370. Then the price went down to £340. After kicking up a fuss, I got a £30 refund. I was all set to return the order and re-order. However, they made the refund to the credit card I made the order on.0

Buying though the small business site, asumes you are not a consumer but a small business (hence the name of it), therefore the distance selling regs will probably not apply.
However Dell are pretty good at such stuff, so give them a call and, like others have said, they may offer to refund the difference in prices (its happened to me as well BTW)."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
Thanks for this, after a call they've agreed to refund the difference between the order and the new online price - which pays for some extra memory from crucial.
Thanks for the tip most appreciated.I do hope you're telling the truth?0 -

If you havent ordered your memory yet try the following, they have very cheap laptop modules (£25.49 for 512mb):
