How many wins per entry!!!

I know this will vary dramatically with everybody but it would be interesting to hear an average of how many wins you get per entry.

I was reading an article of an American who enters 600 comps a day and wins a lot of stuff. As of today I have entered approx 250 comps and won nothing My Diary

Is there anybody out there who has entered in excess of say 1000 comps and won nothing?? What is the average amount of comps people enter to win something??

Would be nice to hear others successes.

I've won 3 prizes this year and have entered roughly around 300 (maybe even more) since January, but keep it up. Alot of MSE's have won due to links on this site. Goodluck!

I have entered well over 1000 and won a few little prizes nothing to really boast about:
Tickets for ideal home ex
National geographic goodie bag,containing cup,putty,disobable camera.
T-Shirt from Wrestlemania which is still running
Sharwoods hamper
So not many wins for me but i will still keep trying,Aiming for a weeks holiday.
Last year was a little better a few good wins.

Nice one. So the rule of thumb so far would suggest if you enter a 1000 comps you would expect to win at least 2 or 3.

I'll need to quicken up.

If only there was 1000 car competitions to enter :rotfl:

I enter about 100 per week if you include the online and email ones. I win roughly about 1 per month but I have had 2 large prizes in the last 6 months.

Bloody hell! :O 100/week is a lot, does it take much time out of your week and where do you find them all?

I returned to comping 2 months ago, I enter about 100 a week. I have had one win this month. An audion tape of Lemony Snickett, my kids love it, retails at about £25.00. Altough I have only won one prize, most of the comps I have entered, their closing date is not up yet.

:rotfl: :rotfl: oh dear i think i may be a bit addicted, i started 3 years ago entering roughly 200 comps a month via postcards send in,when i got internet in september i upped that by an extra 50 or so a week, then yesterday downloaded a form filler recommended on MSE and entered 400!
Well you've gotta be in it to win it!
Ps previous wins include: luxury cheeseboard selection, books, gym membership (3 times), kids bubble making kit, dvds, family panto tickets,
