Hiya, Where would I find cheap/reasonably priced ice skates? We took the children at the weekend & despite the trip to casualty they loved it. I'd love to get myself some skates & when their feet stop growing them some too.

I got a pair of skates from Lidl around about early January time for £14.99. My nearest Lidl doesn't have them anymore but the store near my parents' still has a few pairs and I think they've been reduced in price now too.I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0

Thanks Noozan, unfortunately my local Lidl doesn't have any in at the moment. At least theres no desperate hurry. It would just be nice to have a pair ready for when i next go so that Im not paying more skate hire for dodgy skates.

Ice skates go for around £25.00 second hand on ebay - check out charity shops for them too. I often see them in charity shop windows
