3600 loan over 24 months

Please can i have your thoughts on where I can potentially get a loan for £3600 over 24months at a low interest rate? Ideally I would like a loan that I could pay per month with a rate, and then add more on the months that I could afford it, and finish the loan early, but I know that these loans do not exist... I am therefore looking for a loan on a car, for part of the cost, that can help me with the £3600 that I am short? Anyone here offer help and advise of where I can cheaply borrow this? Many thanks...:T

Try your own bank first and foremost.

Why? if the OP has good credit he could get a much lower rate than his bank offer!!
OP tell us a little about what credit you have at the moment and any credit problems you've had.

Bank are only offering 13.9% apr which is OK but not great.. I found that the abbey is offering 9.4% but when it came to it, after rushed credit check, the rate went to 12.9%! That annoyed me so I would not take this out of principal...
My credit is good, I think.. I have no outstanding debt. I have a mortgage as many people, but my earnings cover this fine. I have no money outstanding on credit cards..

My ideal loan would be one that I could take out for the 24 months, pay the rate at whater £ it was, but then on the odd month I wanted stick another couple of hundred £ in to repay early, but from what I can see this does not exist... In fact if I did this I would end up with penalties...!

The loan is too small I guess but I dont want to take out more than I need for the sake of it... My bank will give me about £5k on 8% or there abouts and I have thought about taking this out and then putting the difference into the bank and drip feeding it back into the account that will repay the loan, to cover the difference but that sounds to me, in writing it down, too complex..

So any thoughts on where there are loans for £3.6k over 24 months that are bargains as all I can find is 12/13% apr...

Thoughts and feedback appreciated... !! :)
