Passport Photo in Nottingham/Derby

Hi everyone

I need to renew my passport hence require taking passport photo. How much does it usually cost? I've made a few inquiries but the prices seem to vary greatly so I am not sure how much is considered reasonable. Anyone aware of a bargain in the area of Nottingham/Derby?

Cheers
Jane

If you take a photo with a digital camera with a white background (sheet?) then it should be fine.

  • The big Tesco at Long Eaton has a photo booth, or at least they did a couple of months ago. You could always give them a ring to check.

either take one with a digital camera and crop it to fit or just use one of the booths in a train station or the like. These are both acceptable

you'll find them at your bigger stores at boots and tesco metro (victoria centre) and nott'm city post office. i've noticed in the larger out of town supermarkets have them too. generally, around the £4.50 mark for four photos and it'll allow you to choose which one you'd prefer.

take a photo on a digital camera upload it to their site - their program will check that it meets the rules, then they will send you the printed version for you to send off - they guarantee that it will be OK otherwise they will do it again for free, costs £3.95, very quick service I was very happy with it.
