Inverness Things To Do ??????

in Scotland
I am coming up to Inverness on the 25th of this month ( Saturday ) to see my children , i know my way around pretty well having been a couple of times but i need to fill some time in with them between 11am and 4 pm any ideas on what sort of things the city holds for two children ? boy 12 girl 11 , i dont want to be trailing round the shopping centre/shops etc , is there any attractions worth going to in the city ?

Other than the obvious ten pin bowling and cinema, what about a boat trip on Loch Ness, horse riding, quad biking https://www.blackislequadbiking.co.uk or a day out at Landmark Forest Theme Park https://www.landmark-centre.co.uk at Carrbridge or the Cairngorm funicular railway.0

I took the kids last time to Landmark we all enjoyed it but the price !0 -

Thanks everyone for your suggestions , its just unfortunate i only have this window of between 10.30 am and 4 pm to enjoy my time with them as i will be on the train back down to Fife the same day , hopefully i will spend some more time later in the year and i can take up peoples suggestions ..... thanks again0

There is a bus that goes around the town etc, Inverness City Tours where you can hop on and off but may be a bit chilly yet.
There is the Floral Hall near to the Leisure Centre also.

BTW, Historic Scotland are offering free admission to their sites throughout Scotland on the weekend of 1/2 of April (Easter Weekend). May be worth having a look for when you get back to Fife etc.
