You mean they should cover the shortfalls first? Pay all the money to the endowment policyholders?
Don't you think there might be a few complaints about unfairness from customers with WP pensions, bonds and annuities?Trying to keep it simple...

I also have a Norwich Union pension but I what I mean is I don't really understand it all ! I have been told that members agreeing to reattribution would enable NU to get their hands on £1.5 billion. I understand the current estimate is for £400 million to be shared out among members - so is that a good deal?EdInvestor wrote: »You mean they should cover the shortfalls first? I hope no-one minds me bumping this thread. I have just got a reattribution letter. Last year there was another nought on the estimate  But even I realise that financial matters are a bit more turbulent than normal.
I am notoriously reliant on the opinion of the good members of MSE when it comes to this sort of thing.
What are people's opinions about the likely outcome if I don't sign the 'yes' letter and take the money now?Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
