I was introduced to Spotify today and I can't see me going to bed tonight because there are soooooooooo many songs I need to listen to!
It saves you spending a fortunue on iTunes on those songs you 'must have'.
It is amazing and I'm in awe.Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -
An iphone/ipod touch app is also planned this year! Free songs everywhere. It's amazing, been using it for a few months. Also try signing up at last.fm and you can scrobble your spotify songs to last.fm0

Like listening to music? Well Spotify is almost like managing your own radio station. You decide what to play from Green Day to Vanessa Mae and everything in between.
Simply download the software, install and select the songs you want to listen to and it's totally legal of course. Obviously something like this has to be paid for and as such has adverts but these are usually played every 4/5 songs and usually fairly short. Try it now, I'm sure you'll be hooked and it's a great way to know other artists that you wasn't aware of.
There are 3 levels of access - Free, Day Pass and Premium. The Day Pass & Premium remove ad's but at a cost. Simply register for a free account though.

You can also get most radio stations via the internet- useful if your crammed into an internet cafe with screaming children, enegetic young people and loud/drunk/mobile phone using adults...
Just google the radio station you want to listen to. DAB stations are normally included.0 -
For those of you who are like me and just listen to music whilst your on the computer Spotify is brilliant.
I've been using it for about six months now, and basically it streams free music to your computer. You choose the artist and the track. In return for this free music you listen to a few minutes of adverts every hours (only around 3 mins).
It's a programme that is much like iTunes, but has saved me buying music only to listen on the computer. It's also a lot less hassle than Youtube.
You can download the software which is safe at www.spotify.com
They are also releasing an iPhone app soon, as has been in national press.
Apologies if posted already, although couldn't find anywhere and may be of lots of use to recent members and older members even if repost0
