was in leicester belgrave gate today to pick up a pressie for wife and lo and behold they have set up their very own managers special booth filled with looty lol


sony tvr 228 hi 8 handycam 149 quid had about 40 in stock


venturer 6.5 inch portable dvd player with everything 89 from 149 had about 20 of these

they also had

ellesse watches,jvc camcorders,28 inch t.v mp3 players mini disks ,walkmans loadsa stuff and the lady i know there said more will be added as they are clearing more stuff which will not be in the new catalouge


hence you cannot ring and reserve these the codes have been crossed out and taken from system

If anyone is going to the store and sees a JVC GRD200 or similar I'd love to get my hands on one! I'll send my details in a pm. Just missed one first time round so this would make my Christmas. (I do know that the chances are they are other models - I am looking for DV in and out, colour viewfinder and around £200)

If they've got any TVs please let me know as I'm after one of the Sony 28" 100Hz models that were there for £275 in the early days of the Argos clearance. Oh, happy days!

It's a fair trek from Sunderland but it would be worth a day out at that price as it's a fantastic TV!

They have camcorders and walkmans but only 25-50% off,these models are now over a year old which in technology terms is old!

Went there on Saturday and bought a JVC GR-D23ek camcorder for £210 (used to sell for £399) plus a JVC starter pack (case, spare batt' and tape) for £20 should be £80

I thought this site was supposed to save me money ! I just spent £230 ;D


PS they had loads of Sony camcorders but no mini DV models left

Hi in the argos at priory square (birmingham) Yesterday they had Sony Wega 32" t.vs for £400 and 28" with stand for £300 hope this helps someone
