Musk perfume - help please.

Mods, do move this or suggest a better place for it, please.

I want to find a true and lovely musk perfume - EDP[NOT EDT] or cream, anything, provided it is of high quality, gorgeous, sensuous and enduring.

I do realise that each person's skin and body zone will bring out different notes, but would still like to hear from anyone who has found THE one.

All suggestions very welcome - thankyou in advance if you can help.

The Body Shop used to do a lovely one called White Musk.

I am going back a few years - so don't know if they still do it!
  • I've got White musk from the Body shop. I bought it after I read an article about how popular it was, one of their best sellers if I remember rightly. Anyhow it smells gorgeous :Dhttp://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/catalog/list.aspx?CategoryCode=c_fragrance_whitemusk&ParentCatCode=C_Fragrance

Clinique do a lovely one called ' Aromatics Elixir ', its very musky and lasts all day or evening.
They also do a body lotion in the same fragrance if you want to layer it.
  • I like Avon Night musk but I don't know if they still do it.

I have bought a number of oils from them after seeing it recommended on here. They aren't expensive so you could try different musks.

Thankyou all - have only just recovered my Broadband so apologies for not acknowledging you all earlier.
I like the sound of the body lotion as an extra from Clinique - shall be investigating these over the next month - thankyou all so much again.

Hi - one of the nicest 'musk' perfumes is Mitsouko by Guerlain - not cheap though... the 'white musk' at Body Shop is a good cheaper smell!
