Morrisons do you think they are still cheap

I use to shop every week at Morrisons taking advantaged of BOGOF all time and stocking up, Until recently my spend woudl be around £65-£75 tops and around £30 savings. I am lucky to get a couple of quid savings now, and my spending has gone up now to around £85-£95

I have stop shopping there now, very few offers, the ones that are are not as fantastic as they use to be

  • I think they have got cheaper on some own brand stuff, but i don't do full shop their, get loads from Netto now.
Don't forget that £5 off at Morrisons for six weeks offer in the Sun starting Monday 18th (30p to buy Sun).:j

I used to use Morrisons all the time as it was local. Due to being unwell I've been using Sainsbury's online and found that some things are significantly cheaper but others not.
Morrisons is cheaper for bread but Sainsbogs cheaper for milk etc . I love the sainsburys value lines .....might be worth doing two or three seperate shops if you are able but then have to add in travel and time etc ....

Prices seem to have gone up everywhere though :(

  • i have to shop at morrisons normally as it's my local and, being a bit of a geek, I can remember the prices of most of the things i regularly buy.

so today having got a lift to tesco, I was able to notice that a lot of things there are more expensive than in morrisons.

Tesco does have a big section of general grocery whoopsies (gah i hate that word but can't think of another one!) BUT morrisons has a "selected seconds" veg section which is super cheap :)

If i had to pick one i think it would be morrisons. Yes, prices are going up, but they are everywhere.

I generally shop at Tesco only occasionally at Morrisons and usually only buy their BOGOFs but I do like their non food goods.

Yup, it's mentioned in the Sun today.
I've noticed the meat seems to cost a lot more now.

    Morrisons 6 x £5 off vouchers
    Newspaper based vouchers

Grab a copy of The Sun (30p weekdays 60p on Sat) from Mon 18 - Sat 23 May, and the News of the World on Sun 24 May (£1) and inside every issue you'll find a voucher entitling you to £5 off a £30 spend at Morrisons. If you grab all six, that's a total saving of £31.90 after the initial £3.10 newspaper spend.

Each voucher will be valid for a different week for six weeks until Sat 28 June 09. The News of the World voucher will be valid for the week after it's published from Sun 24 - Sun 31 May.

Each spend at Morrisons must be above £30 to use your voucher and cannot include items such as tobacco, lottery tickets, phone top ups, dry cleaning, gift vouchers, saver stamps, prescription medicines or purchases made separately at the audio counter. The £30 must be spent in one single transaction and only one voucher can be used at a time.

The vouchers are valid at all Morrisons stores excluding petrol filling stations. Find your nearest Morrisons.
    ;)Thanks;)
