I found Tesco to be the best value for money - some of the cheaper bouquets are or include roses and various other flowers rather than all carnations which are all many of the others at the lower end of the budget offer.

Which? tested a few flower delivery companies and https://www.flowersdirect.co.uk came out top for quality. I've not heard of them before but I keep leaving the page up on the computer to drop huge hammer-sized hints. I've used https://www.bunches.co.uk before to send the orchids which were £16.99 and fantastic and really did last for ages. MIL complained she had to go and buy a bigger vase though so you can't please everyone!
