Wedding Video to DVD

Hi I would like to get my wedding video put on DVD.......

Does anyone know of a good place that does that sort of thing

Hi,

You could buy a DVD recorder (from approx £50) and do it yourself. Its very easy.

i was looking at puting VHS onto DVD and asked the same question on another forum, ill find the reply i got and post here. The site is mainly american so prices are in dollors, but but gives u an idea how to do it.

You can go several way althought the two beat options are USB and PCI. I recommend a PCI video capture card. They are as little as $30

The USB are a little more pricey. If you have an open PCI slot I recommend staying away from USB. I just don't like the platform. But if you find your self using USB there are several companies that have been using USB interface for years.

They will come with limited software to help you transfer you video to digital media. Don't worry about recording in higher than VCD format. Recording from VHS, you won't be able to tke advantafe of the quality. It's just not there in VHS.
