Violetta - where the heck did you find my ideal dress ..NOT!

Class - h2b would love that!!

made me chuckle - more than the bo peep style dresses

if anything 'peeped' it would be more BOINGggggg peep than bo peep, I think. One of the (many) disconcerting things about the photo is that it's presumably her mum and her sister at the front of the photo - what would you say to her, if she was your daughter. Imagine the conversation:

Mum, mum, I've found it, the dress of my dreams
Have you dear? Show me, then, let me see....

LOL - I just found that pic on another site and this is what someone has written about it:

I would have LOVED to have been a fly on the wall when she purchased this little number. “But I want more nipple showing!! It’s MY day and I’ll flash who I want to!!!” She probably talked about how much she hated her Dad too, because I can’t imagine who gave her away in this. Must have been a helluva reception though, maybe they went to Hooters!

I think some strapless dresses can look nice (although the traditional dress thing isn't really me) BUT in looking for alternative dresses I am trying to avoid strapless as I am incapable of wearing anythig strapless without constantly hoiking it back up (even if it hasn't actually moved) and I don't want my pics and vid to be all of me adjusting myself!

my dress is strapless too from probably the most popular/populist range at the moment, and i don't think I look like a "tramp barbie". i don't feel the need to stamp my individualism all over my wedding dress - I have 364 other days of the year to do that! All I wanted was a dress that I loved. That one happened to be ivory and strapless; although again like others have said, I didn't originally want a strapless one.

and as for people saying "why would anyone wear white if they're not a virgin?" it's a tradition these days, it doesn't have the same meaning it used to. Just like, would you say to someone whose father is giving them away "you know that originates from when men would treat women as chattels, so the father is selling his daughter to the new husband, blah blah blah". it is just a tradition.
