The NT are giving away seeds starting from half term & through the summer. See here for details http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-News/National-Trust-Launches-Grow-Your-Own-Scheme/Article/200905215281114?lpos=UK_News_First_Home_Article_Teaser_Region_8&lid=ARTICLE_15281114_National_Trust_Launches_Grow_Your_Own_Scheme
I suppose that means though that you may have to pay to enter one of their sites to get them - though possibly free at their shops which are often before the ticket office.

Should be a good day out if you are near enough to visit! :-)0 -
Thanks for this, OP.
As I mentioned in another post the other day, if you have an NT family membership, you should get a free packet of seeds in with your quartlerly magazine this month. Make sure you don't throw it out with the junk mail they stick inside the packaging though!
Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A

Do you get free seeds if you're just an individual member, or is it families only?0

I'm assuming it's for family membership, cos the seed packaging is aimed at kids with child-friendly graphics and the foodgloriousfood website is definitely aimed at getting kids to start growing veg.Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A
