decent jam for vegitarians

tescos sell its own value brand of mixed fruit jam. this doesn't have that much less fruit or more sugar than branded items. what does it taste like- i just want some jam to spread on my toast. i would prefer blackcurrant jam but don't want to pay over odds. dont' want to make my own.
thanks

There shouldn't be any animal products in jam! The setting agent is pectin which naturally occurs in fruit. Lidl does both blackcurrant and mixed fruit jam and they are lovely! Quite tart flavour with lots of fruit.
