B+Q also have a SDS drill for the same price on clearance0

Anybody know which would be the better out of these two? Do either come with a carry case?

Don't know about the B&Q one but the Argos one comes in a plastic carrying case, I'm going to rip up up some cracked floor tiles with it this weekend, I know i could have used a hand chisel but seems less like work with a gadget like this!0

Not sure what the B+Q one comes with i just glanced at it last week when browsing the cordless drills.0

Could anyone who has the Argos one confirm if it has a long drill bit.
I need to drill a hole from the inside to outside of a Victorian house (co-ax cable and a double brick wall without cavity). Would this do the job out of the box, or is it likely to shatter the plaster and knock 3 bricks out in the process?
I have a conventional hammer drill, but a long drill bit alone will probably cost £15 anyway!

Poundland sell a pack of 3 long drill bits for yep £1 they work fine

It comes with a 290mm drill bit but at a diameter of 22mm (more designed for water pipes etc), there is also a 140mm drill diameter 14mm but I guess this would be too short.RufusA wrote:Could anyone who has the Argos one confirm if it has a long drill bit.

Just picked up the last one from Argos in Fforestfach, Swansea. It looks very good value for money and is very heavy. Just got to work out how to use it.
Cheers
