On my way back from holiday Virgin damaged my case and sent it away to be repaired or replaced.

They cannot repair and but also cannot offer me the same colour.

This is what I had in Pink

What they want to replace it with is american tourister by Samsonite. In blue or graphite. I can find a few not sure which one.

It will be same size which is the large case, have 4 spinny wheels but will not have tsa locks (which i dont care about) and is not pink (which i do care about a little bit!!)

They have said if i can find the recipt they will send me a cheque to go buy the same one.

I was wondering if I hunt for the recipt do i really want the same one if it breaks so easily ( Only travelled with it 2 times) plus the pink colour means it looks crappy really quickly.

Other one doesnt look as nice in my opinion but as it is a samsonite make will it be stronger and better???

Any ideas?

Anyone had an American Tourister before??

We have 2 Samsonite American Tourister suitcases but this one not the one like your pink one.

It's been on quite a few international flights and apart from the normal scratches which are inevitable we've had no problems. Samsonite are a long-established name in the luggage world but if you're unsure you could google for reviews.
