Flat black pumps, either with a little strap (I call them dolly shoes) or without. Preferably, non-slip, non-marking soles. The school will send out a letter with their requirements for uniform, including shoes.
You could stroll/drive slowly by her school (or any secondary school) one day, and look at what the other girls are wearing. Only problem with this is, by September, the fashion will have changed, yet again. :rolleyes:We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.0 -
yep, flat black pumps - most tend to wear cheap throwaway ones, so head to places like Shoe Fayre, New Look, Primark, etc - usual price under £10 - should last a term or two

Thanks...she's got a long walk so will try to find some with a decent sole as those cheap pumps you can feel every bump when you walk....fashion or no fashion I'm not letting her ruin her joints.
Wouldn't life be so much easier if they all had to wear one set style!Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0 -
I would try Clarks. Not the cheapest, but great value considering the wear you can get out of them.. There are some nice good quality funky shoes for children, especially the older girls styles.
John Lewis also do a nice selection.0
