Advice from those who wear false eyelashes

I've bought myself some false eyelashes (just the corner ones) for a night out tomorrow. They are the self-adhesive type.

I'm not sure if I apply all my eye make-up before though (including mascara) then just stick them on  if I do this, will they stick enough to my make up?

I'm not sure if I should apply them first then add my mascara as i want to use them again.

Any advice would be appreciated

If you want to use them again don't put mascara on them, it makes them clump and it is tricky to clean it back off without damaging them.

yes, this is what I thought.
  • Yeah I agree don't put mascara on but do the rest of your make up before putting them on.

I put my mascara on my real eyelashes before applying my 'falsies'

I use naturalites and am dead impressed - it's the 'something different but I don't know what' look I get from friends/family.
And I DID get chatted up the first time I wore them out! Result!

I apply the glue and let it 'go off' for a bit.
I do it face down into a mirror as I find that easier (I read that as a tip somewhere)
    HTH
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

yes I have the naturalites too but just corner ones. However they are self adhesive - do you think they'll stick ok or should I get some glue?

if you were nearby I could give you one of them :rotfl:

Id just let them stick on however bring the glue with you and leave it in your bag- Just incase ;)
Also if you dont mind not using them again, applying mascara to them once on does make them look better.
I used to use false eye lashes all the time and my natural eye lashes become very short and thin so id suggest only using the stick on ones if you can because the glue does pull your eyelashes off.
Thankfully after about 2months mine are now getting to a nice length but am going to use stick on only now.
