Bookmarks won't open

several of my bookmarks no longer open - if I search manually for the sites i'm able to open them. only had this problem today.
have firefox. did have avast until about 1hr ago when i changed it for avira. Is there anyway of getting the addresses programmed back into the list - or do i have to start from scratch? also, what would have caused it to do this?

sorted it. went back to restore it to a couple of days ago, and it works fine now. not a clue what i'd done!!
