showing income for a remortgage

hi

once my current fixed rate ends in july, im gonna go on the svr and stay there till rates go up then look at fixing. but when the time does come for me to remortgage, will rental income on my 2 BTL's count towards my income? coz my income has gone down by almost half due to redundancy and stuff, but if i include my rental income then it kinda goes up to what i showed in the first place.

thanks

Do you have buy to let mortgages ?

If so, the rental income goes to service those I reckon.

Of course there may be profit in there too.

If you are staying with your current lender (assuming you're not borrowing any more) your income won't be re-assessed so won't matter.
If you are changing lenders then it will vary lender to lender as to what income they will count. Normally you can use the surplus of the rent over the BTL mortgage payment.
