End of Year P14....any spares?

Hi

Doing my end of year submission to HMRC and forgot to ask for P14's. I know it takes 7 days for them to send which dos not give me much time to get off to HMRC.

Does anyone have any spares?

I think the tax man is trying to tell you something:

If you have fewer than 50 employees

Currently there are no forms that you must file online, but under government proposals this will change over the next few years.
Your Employer Annual Return

Under those proposals, filing your Employer Annual Return - form P35 and form P14s - online will become a requirement for you, starting with your 2009-10 return. However, we'll give you a tax-free payment of £75 if you file your 2008-09 return online. This is due to reach HMRC by 19 May 2009. You can get more information on how to claim a tax-free payment for online filing by following the link at the end of this section.
HMRC calculates the number of employees in each business to see who qualifies for the tax-free payment. See the later section How HMRC determines how many employees you have.
If you are using simplified PAYE procedures for domestic employees you are still eligible to claim the tax-free payment if you file your 2008-09 annual return - forms P37 and P12 – online. This is due to reach HMRC by 19 May 2009.

I wish they paid me for doing my self assesment Income Tax not to mention the dreaded IHT forms.

Yep, they really are trying to discourage you from using paper:

It would appear that you still get the 75 GBP even if you do it late though you may have to pay a penalty.

When I used the on-line ordering system for IHT purposes, they took a week to respond and sent the missing form second class so it took 4 days to arrive:mad:

(There was me trying to send them a 6 figure sum and thinking the government needed the tax - talk about being penny wise and pound foolish)

I am in Manchester but can travel depending on where you are

Only got about 10 but they are P60 3 part laser with the 2nd (green) part being the P14. Did you not get the P14 part with your P60s ?

I did ask for them but they only sent P60's.....damn - guess will have to wait for them to send to me....hopefully before next week eek !!!

The 3 part laser P60 comes with the P14 so if you asked for 3 part laser P60s and they sent them minus the P14 part then it is their fault and you should call them to get an extension for your return.
