Ikea Double Matress!!! £150 price but scanned as £30

Options
Right dont really know if this is specific to the Croydon Branch or not but the
"Sultan Hogbo" Double Matress Scanned through for me at £30 last night when it was marked up at £150 pretty sure its a pricing error but the cashier didnt really query me over it and just run my card through for £30.

Hopefully other people will be as lucky as me :j

It might be specific to Croydon as I believe each Ikea is a Franchise and can charge diff prices. Well done to OP!!

Wow sounds like a good deal .... might get down to Valley Park first thing in the morning .... are you able to confirm was the £30 one .... the 180cm * 200cm (Sultan Hogbo Sprung Mattress) thats £130 in the catalogue? (page 44)

Are you sure they scanned the right barcode? I once got a wall unit for £1 instead of £45 because it had a barcode sticker from another item.

It should say on the receipt the name of the item scanned from the barcode. I could do with a new mattress.

Be careful about buying Ikea mattresses for non-Ikea beds: they are funny size.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.

  • Normal sized beds/mattress's in 99% of UK furniture outlets:
    Small Double: 120cm
    Double: 135cm
    King: 150cm
    Super King: 180cm

Ikea tends to have 120cm, 140cm, 160cm mattress and bed measurements, clearly to ensure people buy bedframes from them as well.
