Perhaps I'm getting far too cautious in my old age, but I always hesitate over following details given by someone in their one and only post on the forum. This place is full of wonderful stuff, but my brain always goes into overdrive when I see this sort of thing! I have enough spam hitting my inbox as it is!! Just getting cynical I guess, sorry!

Depends.. I think sometimes these things result in a wad of spam and others they don't.

Just to save my main email address becoming clogged with piles of spam though, every 'freebie' I sign up for, I use an old hotmail address that I've kept active for this purpose. My main address is relatively spam-free, while the hotmail address is riddled.
