Hi
I don't know if anyone can help me but here is my querey:
I don't have anyway of adding or removing songs to/from my ipod mini so I bought the ITunes CD home with me to use on my sisters laptop. The CD installed ok but when it came to attaching my ipod to the laptop it starting updating all the songs, when this had finished I thought nothing of it until I realised that all of my sisters music from ITunes was now on my Ipod without a trace of my own music!
I've lost nearly 600 songs and I was wondering if they were lost forever or if there was a way of getting them back?
Thanks

The iPod is a removable hard drive, so you could try some form of recovery software. I'd imagine a lot of the files would still be present on the iPod, just not part of the allocation table. Can't remember any free ones off hand, will need to have a look.
Still, another reason why I don't like iTunes. Had a similar problem myself where iTunes thought there was something wrong with my iPod so formatted it without asking me! That's why I now use Portable Winamp with the ml_ipod plugin instead."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
