Caesar Dressing?

Options
Hi
I have just opened a bottle of Bramwells Caesar dressing bought from Aldi. I checked how long it would last and it says only 2 days after opening! Would you use it after that or would it be possible to freeze it? I will neve use a whole bottle by tomorrow!

Thanks

What is the use by date if not opened?
I usually go by those rather then "use within"...

    Hi

The use by date is 19/03/2010. Dont expect it to be fresh till then but salad dressing usually last 4 or 6 weeks so was surprised that this is only 2 days. Who can use a bottle full in 2 days?

Then I wouldn't worry about it. We have chicken ceasar salad only now and then (1 a month?) because that is one of the very few ways how to get fresh salad into my OH's system (but only once a month:-)) and I always use the same bottle over the month.
Never done anything bad to me yet!

Thanks. I will probably keep using it then.

It should keep for a few weeks at least in the fridge. Don't pay to much attention to the day limit printed by the manufacturers, they only want you to buy more.

As Any says, the best before date is more important.

I've kept opened jars of bolognese for 2 weeks in the fridge and opened jars of tartar sauce for a few months with no probs at all.
