is there a way to stop bananas turning fruit off

    I store mine in a plastic bag under the cupborad :rotfl:. They seem to last about a week or so before they start to get speckled.

    not really anything to do with bananas near fruit but my nan had to move her bananas away from her favourite chair as the 'gas' they let off was giving her headaches!!! !!!!!! nan!!! yes me and my mum laughed so much
    Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts :heart:
  • The one good thing about bananas is that if you want some fruit you have to ripen - stick them in with some bananas - great with peaches / nectarines!

    They will go black when you put them in the fridge!

    I used to work on a fruit market,
    basically never put your bananas near any other fruit, pref keep them hanging up and don't put them in the fridge - it causes them to go black.

    I only eat bananas when they are green (urgh I know) so it's not a problem I have but bananas have to be billy no mates - on their own !
